Captain Klaus along with his wife Martha take great pleasure to welcome you aboard "Enigma VI" for a truly superb charter experience.


	Klaus - Captain on Swan 68 KLAUS grew up among the waters of Austria that nurtured a love for watersports. Relocating to Germany as an adult saw his attention shift to cars and mechanical engineering. He eventually left his Engineering life working for BMW in Münich to immerse himself in sailing, windsurfing, SCUBA diving, and hiking; as his passion for nature outgrew his passion for cars. Thoroughly immersing himself in the lifestyle, Klaus first gained vast experience crewing on many yachts and making delivery passages. Then he cruised The Med, The Bahamas and Caribbean, on first a motor vessel, then a sailboat which brings his blue water miles total to 20,000. Eventually he was invited to join racing crews; became PADI certified; and learned the art of yacht maintenance. This experience, along with his outgoing and upbeat personality, is culminated in the Swan Victoria: A Swan 48’ charter sailing yacht maintained immaculately to the highest standards and safety requirements. He will now share his love for the sea and passion for the islands [and his surfboard!] with every guest. Klaus holds a German Captain License, is a certified PADI Diver and has been certified in STCW 95: Personal Survival Techniques, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, Fire Fighting, First Aid and CPR. *"Sailing is like ice cream, you can't stay away of it!"* Hobbies: Sailing, Diving, Snorkeling, Active wind surfer, Enduro Motorcycling, Hiking and of course as an Austrian: Skiing.
	Martha - Chef / 1st Mate on Swan 68 MARTHA has been driven to be an overachiever from the start. From her humble beginnings in Chihuahua, Mexico she wielded a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering to secure management positions in the automotive industry; her expertise was beckoned around the world. One quality meeting in Detroit brought Klaus and Martha together and both decided to go for the life at sea. Throughout her world travels, the love of food preparation has been central to her domain. From her rich cooking experience she has developed a keen sense of cuisine. On Swan Victoria, Martha's varied menus are the offshoot of a life of travel, her abilities as chef were influenced by the many cultures she experienced. She specializes in Mediterranean, Thai and Vegetarian Gourmet cooking, and is equally happy to produce Western fare. She offers anything from down home cookin' to Caribbean flavors with a worldly flare, all beautifully presented; applying the best ingredients to prepare modern, organic, light, fresh and nutritious courses, deliciously seasoned with local herbs and spices (No MSG). Martha's overachieving personality is apparent in her dominance at the 2008 BVI Charter Boat Show: *Overall winning chef in the Culinary competition.* Additional 1st place award in the appetizer category and 3rd place award in the dessert category. (There's NO WAY her deserts are "Third Place"! :) ". . . she exudes a zest for life and by standing over six feet, the Latin beauty easily resembles a model en route to her next casting call."
